The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has inked a strategic partnership deal with Travelwings to facilitate the Guild’s participation in the forthcoming Windsor International Black Film Festival (WIBFF) in Canada.
The agreement was formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Guild’s National Secretariat in Abuja, appointing Travelwings as the official travel partner of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
Under the partnership, Travelwings will provide discounted flight arrangements for AGN members and assist interested participants with Canadian visa processing and travel support ahead of the international film festival.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Abubakar Yakubu, described the collaboration as a significant milestone in the Guild’s commitment to expanding international opportunities for Nigerian actors and filmmakers.
He noted that the partnership would create easier access for members to global platforms where Nollywood can continue to showcase its creative excellence and cultural influence.

Representatives of Travelwings also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the creative industry through efficient travel management and international mobility services.
According to the company, the partnership will ensure AGN members enjoy smooth travel experiences, affordable flight options, and professional guidance throughout their visa application processes.
