He urged the new AGN President to champion reforms that will reposition the Guild, strengthen its internal systems, and enhance its capacity to serve actors more effectively. According to him, the new administration must prioritise members’ welfare, expand capacity-building initiatives, and invest in programmes that foster professional development across all levels.
Dr. Husseini further cautioned the leadership against pursuing activities or projects outside the Guild’s core mandate, noting that mission-driven programmes will guarantee credibility, continuity, and meaningful impact.
Reaffirming its commitment to the growth of the Nigerian creative and entertainment landscape, the NFVCB expressed confidence in Yakubu’s ability to deliver purposeful and progressive leadership for the AGN.
